This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through our website at linkedai.ca and through our general business communications, including inquiries you send us and correspondence during a sales conversation.
This policy does not govern how we handle the data your business entrusts to us during a paid engagement — for example the documents, records, and systems connected to a custom automation or a Business Brain deployment. That relationship is governed by the written services agreement and any data processing terms signed between LinkedAI and your organization. Section 9 explains the general principles we apply, but the signed agreement controls.

Please do not send us sensitive personal information — such as health information, financial account numbers, or government identifiers — through the contact form. It is not the right channel for it.
Our website is a static site hosted on GitHub Pages. We do not run analytics software, advertising trackers, session recording, or heat mapping on it, and we do not maintain our own web-server logs.

You may withdraw your consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice, by emailing info@linkedai.ca. Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer respond to your inquiry or continue providing a service to you. We will tell you if that is the case.
In limited circumstances we may collect, use, or disclose personal information without consent where the law permits or requires it — for example to investigate a breach of an agreement, to comply with a court order or lawful demand, or in an emergency threatening someone's life, health, or security.
LinkedAI does not set any cookies on linkedai.ca. We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or tracking pixels, and we do not build advertising profiles or engage in cross-site tracking.
The third-party embeds described in section 3.3 — most notably the LinkedIn post embeds on our home page — may set their own cookies in your browser. You can block or delete these through your browser settings. Blocking them will not affect your ability to use our website; at most, an embedded LinkedIn post may not display.
Our website does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals, because we do not track visitors across sites in the first place.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent, trade, or otherwise disclose it to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

As the table above shows, several of our providers are located in the United States, and personal information you submit through this website is stored and processed there. While it is outside Canada, that information is subject to the laws of the United States, and may be accessible to United States courts, law enforcement, and national security authorities under those laws.
We take reasonable contractual and other measures to ensure our providers give personal information a comparable level of protection to what it would receive in Canada. When your business engages LinkedAI, we may work with data your organization controls — documents, records, systems, and the personal information of your employees or customers contained in them.
In that context, your organization is the owner of that data and we act on your instructions. As a general matter:
If you are an individual whose personal information was provided to us by a LinkedAI client, we handle that information on that client's behalf. Please direct your access, correction, or deletion requests to that organization; if you contact us, we will refer you to them and assist them in responding.
The specific commitments that apply to any given engagement — including security controls, data location, sub-processors, and retention — are the ones written into your signed agreement with us.
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, or as long as the law requires.
When personal information is no longer needed, we delete it or render it anonymous.
We use security safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we hold. These include access controls and authentication on the accounts and systems that hold personal information, encryption in transit (our website is served over HTTPS) and at rest where our providers support it, limiting access to personnel who need it, using reputable providers with established security practices, and reviewing our practices as our business grows.
No method of transmitting or storing information is completely secure. While we work to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute security, and any transmission is at your own risk. If we become aware of a breach of security safeguards involving your personal information that creates a real risk of significant harm, we will notify you and the appropriate regulators as required by law.

Canada benefits from an adequacy decision from the European Commission in respect of personal data covered by PIPEDA. Where personal information is transferred to providers in other countries, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
Our website and services are directed at businesses, not at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at info@linkedai.ca and we will delete it.
Our website links to other sites, including LinkedIn profiles for our team and company. This policy does not apply to those sites. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices, and we encourage you to read the privacy policy of any site you visit.
